This monograph deals with the playfulness which presents the results of a qualitative research whose aim was to discuss the importance of play in the process of child development in order to build knowledge through play , games and toys . A survey was done facing the possibilities that the game triggers the construction and reconstruction of knowledge , thereby contributing to raising the contributions of playfulness in the teaching and learning process . The result of this study showed that the researched school appreciates the playful and take as needed for children's learning .
