Educação indígena: a importância da educação indígena na cultura e tradição das comunidades potiguaras

The present study had as objective to analyze the importance of Culture and Tradition with the community of Potiguara in the Indigenous Education present at the Akajutibiro State School. And, as specific objectives: Identify the main difficulties encountered in Indigenous Education, on teaching the memory of Culture and Tradition of Potiguaras communities; Check how the Akajutibiro school works the teaching of the memory of Culture and Tradition in the Potiguaras communities in its Pedagogical Political Project. And, finally, to understand the importance of Indigenous Education in dealing with the Culture and Tradition of Indigenous communities. The concerns in this study tried to talk about: What is the importance of Culture and Tradition of Potiguaras Communities in Indigenous Education? And how does the Akajutibiro State School share indigenous cultural knowledge in its Pedagogical Project? The methodology was an exploratory one, based on a qualitative, bibliographical and documentary approach (analysis of the Political and Pedagogical Project of the Akajutibiro State School and participant, elapsed through semi-structured interviews with community members. , The analysis of content, speech of leadership.This study revealed that indigenous school education has advanced, but needs to be discussed and put into practice, even though we are assured of such rights as a differentiated and good quality education , It still falls short of meeting what the legislation proclaims and enabling concrete conditions to expand educational possibilities articulated with the Culture and Tradition of Indigenous Peoples.O presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar a importância da Cultura e Tradição junto à comunidade potiguara na Educação Indígena presente na Escola Estadual Akajutibiro. E, como objetivos específicos: Identificar as principais dificuldades encontradas na Educação Indígena, sobre o ensino da memória da Cultura e Tradição das comunidades Potiguaras; Verificar como a escola Akajutibiro trabalha o ensino da memória da Cultura e Tradição nas comunidades Potiguaras em seu Projeto Político Pedagógico. E, por fim, compreender a importância da Educação Indígena ao tratar da Cultura e Tradição das comunidades Indígenas. As inquietações presentes nesse estudo tentaram dialogar sobre: Qual a importância da Cultura e Tradição das Comunidades Potiguaras na Educação Indígena? E como a Escola Estadual Akajutibiro partilha saberes culturais indígenas em seu Projeto Pedagógico? A metodologia se deu de forma exploratória, a partir de uma abordagem qualitativa, de cunho bibliográfico, documental (análise do Projeto Político e Pedagógico da Escola Estadual Akajutibiro e participante, decorrida através de entrevistas semi estruturada com integrantes da comunidade. Procedeu-se, também, a análise de conteúdo, da fala da liderança. Esse estudo revelou que a educação escolar indígena tem avançado, mas que necessita ser ainda discutida e colocada em prática, pois por mais que nos sejam assegurados tais direitos como uma educação diferenciada e de boa qualidade, esta ainda está aquém de atender o que apregoa a legislação e possibilitar condições concretas para que se ampliem possibilidades educativas articuladas com a Cultura e Tradição dos Povos Indígenas
