Uma análise na resolução de problemas que envolvem o cálculo de porcentagem em questões do livro didático e da OBMEP

The present work comes to present the results of an investigation into a state school of elementary and high school in the town of Rio Tinto - PB, in order to analyze the relationships between the didactic book issues and issues of Mathematics Olympics Public Schools (OBMEP) with respect to the content of the Percentages calculation. The methodology used to achieve the proposed objectives, and the procedures were bibliographic research and study of the case. As to the objectives, the research was characterized as exploratory and the method of approach the problem, was the qualitative and quantitative. Already the instrument used in the collection of research data was a questionnaire diagnostic containing four questions of the textbook and four questions of OBMEP database in previous years, the size of the sample were forty students of two classes of eighth and ninth year of elementary school. Regarding the results, the data show that there is a big deficiency in relation to the student's knowledge in the calculation of percentages, since the resolutions of the issues both of didactic book as the OBMEP, also were much lower than expected.O presente trabalho vem apresentar os resultados de uma investigação realizada numa Escola Estadual de Ensino Fundamental e Médio, no município de Rio Tinto-PB, cujo objetivo foi analisar as relações existentes entre as questões do livro didático e as questões das Olimpíadas de Matemática das Escolas Públicas (OBMEP) a respeito do conteúdo do cálculo de Porcentagem. A metodologia utilizada para alcançar os objetivos propostos, quanto aos procedimentos foram a pesquisa bibliográfica e o estudo de caso. Quanto aos objetivos, a pesquisa foi caracterizada como exploratória e como método de abordagem do problema foram o método qualitativo e quantitativo. Já o instrumento empregado na coleta de dados da pesquisa foi um questionário diagnóstico, contendo 4 questões do livro didático e 4 questões do banco de dados da OBMEP de anos anteriores, o tamanho da amostra foram 40 alunos de duas turmas do 8° e 9° ano do Ensino Fundamental. Com relação aos resultados, os dados mostram que existe uma grande deficiência em relação ao conhecimento do aluno no cálculo das porcentagens, uma vez que as resoluções das questões tanto do livro didático como asda OBMEP, ainda foram muito abaixo do esperado
