O uso do Symbolab e MalMath em dispositivos móveis: uma ferramenta prática para o cálculo de integrais duplas

With the advancement of technology in our daily lives, the school needs to follow these changes and assume new spaces, capable of granting, involving, interacting, as well as elaborating methodologies capable of covering multiple possibilities for teaching. In mathematics, but specifically in the teaching of Integral Calculus, we know of the difficulties presented by students when it is necessary, for example, to perform calculations with double integrals. Thus, this work had as general objective to present a study capable of contributing to and facilitating the calculation of double integrals, using as a tool the MalMath and Symbolab applications on mobile devices. The research was carried out at the Federal University of Paraíba/Campus IV, in the city of Rio Tinto-PB. The methodology used in this research in relation to the objectives was the exploratory research, as for the technical procedures were used the bibliographic research and case study, already regarding the approach of the problem, both qualitative and quantitative research were used. In order to collect data, we applied a diagnostic questionnaire with ten closed questions, which was about the performance of the applications that were used in the workshop. As a result, it was found that the MalMath and Symbolab applications in the study of dual integrals allowed students a better understanding of the content studied, since the MalMath application showed the solution step-by-step. As for the Symbolab application, it was possible to improve the knowledge about the content, since the application provided directly the result of the integral, making it possible for the student to check only the final answer of the question, if they had any doubts. In this way, it was verified that the pedagogical workshop applied in the discipline of Differential and Integral Calculus III, offered good results as the study of the double integrals, aiming that all the students acted with great enthusiasm in the accomplishment of the activities proposed during the workshop, participating in every moment.Com o avanço da tecnologia em nossa vida cotidiana, a escola necessita acompanhar essas mudanças e assumir novos espaços, capazes de conceder, envolver, interagir, como também elaborar metodologias capazes de abranger múltiplas possibilidades ao ensino. Na Matemática, mas especificamente no ensino do Cálculo Integral, sabe-se das dificuldades apresentadas pelos alunos quando se faz necessário, por exemplo, realizar cálculos com integrais duplas. Dessa forma, este trabalho teve como objetivo geral apresentar um estudo capaz de contribuir e facilitar o cálculo de integrais duplas, utilizando como ferramenta os aplicativos MalMath e Symbolab em dispositivos móveis. O estudo foi desenvolvido numa turma com 23 alunos da disciplina Cálculo Diferencial e Integral III do curso de Licenciatura em Matemática. A pesquisa realizou-se na Universidade Federal da Paraíba/Campus IV, na cidade de Rio Tinto-PB. A metodologia utilizada nesta pesquisa em relação aos objetivos foi a pesquisa exploratória, quanto aos procedimentos técnicos foram utilizadas a pesquisa bibliográfica e estudo de caso, já quanto a abordagem do problema, foram utilizadas tanto pesquisa qualitativa, quanto a quantitativa. Já para coleta de dados foi aplicado um questionário diagnóstico com dez questões fechadas, que tratavam da atuação dos aplicativos utilizados na oficina. Como resultado, foi apurado que os aplicativos MalMath e Symbolab no estudo das integrais duplas permitiu aos alunos um melhor entendimento do conteúdo estudado, uma vez que o aplicativo MalMath mostrava o passo-a-passo da solução. Já o aplicativo Symbolab, foi possível aprimorar o conhecimento sobre o conteúdo, uma vez que, o aplicativo fornecia diretamente o resultado da integral, fazendo com que fosse possível o aluno conferir apenas a reposta final da questão, caso tivessem alguma dúvida. Deste modo, verificou-se que a oficina pedagógica aplicada na disciplina de Cálculo Diferencial e Integral III, ofereceu bons resultados quanto o estudo das integrais duplas, uma vez que todos os alunos atuaram com bastante entusiasmo nas realizações das atividades propostas durante a oficina, participando de todos os momentos
