Recriando histórias: trabalhando com contos no CRC Costa e Silva.

This work presents an analysis based on workshops conducted with students from Monteiro Lobato Primary School, received by the Reference and Citizenship Center -RCC - located in the Costa e Silva Neighborhoods. The Recreating Stories Project was selected by the III calling announcement for Conducting Cultural Workshops in Neighborhoods, launched by João Pessoa Cultural Foundation - FUNJOPE, organization subordinated to Education and Culture Secretary of the capital. The main objective of this research is to show the storytelling as an access area to reading and writing. Seen as a ludic tool for the appropriation of social practices involving short narratives, the event proposes the link between orality and literacy and the dive into the classic children’s literature, myths and folk tales, uniting them to school literacy and experiences of literacy in their family context. The work was substantiated by the Gotlib (1998) studies on short story theory, and also by the New Literacy Studies: Street 4 , Barton and Hamilton (2000) and Kleiman (2005). Within the perspective of Literary Literacy, we were led by Cosson (2009) and Marcuschi (2002) in relation to speech / writing. Our research takes an ethnographic qualitative approach, for the researcher was also the classes’ mediator. Our analysis was conducted using the notes of this researcher, questionnaires collected with a teacher who accompanied the students on the chosen series and written texts by three students whose texts were collected for data generation to be shown in our research. Through the data analysis’ results, we understand that those involved have advanced in their degree of literacy after participating in the proposed events but also redefined their readers and writers practices. The storytelling, this ancient practice which is still present through the rapid production of technological innovations, renews itself watching the transformation and emergence of media, genres and themes. Events like these are important tools in the hands of agents of literacy in order to provide a dip into classical and popular literature, without forgetting the production of short stories, the first step to discovering great new writers. If literature often represents the word which leads young readers to books through other words, the storyteller figure is our conductor through the past, the present and the future of our memories.Este trabalho apresenta uma analise das oficinas realizadas com os alunos da Escola de Ensino Fundamental Monteiro Lobato, recebido pelo Centro de Referência e Cidadania- CRC- localizado no bairro Costa e Silva. O projeto Recriando Histórias foi selecionado pelo III edital de Chamamento para a Realização de Oficinas Culturais nos Bairros, lançado pela Fundação Cultural João Pessoa-FUNJOPE, entidade subordinada a Secretária de Educação e Cultura da capital. O principal objetivo desta pesquisa é mostrar a contação de histórias como um espaço de acesso à leitura e à escrita. Vista como instrumento lúdico de apropriação das práticas sociais que envolvem narrativas curtas, o evento propõe a relação entre oralidade e escrita e o mergulho à literatura através de clássicos infanto-juvenis, mitos e causos populares, unindo ao letramento escolar e experiências do seu contexto familiar de letramento. O trabalho foi fundamentado pelos estudos de Gotlib(1998) sobre teoria do conto, pelos Novos Estudos de Letramento: Street (1984), Barton e Hamilton (2000) e Kleiman (2005). Dentro da perspectiva do Letramento Literário fomos guiados por Cosson (2009) e Marcuschi (2002) em relação à fala/escrita. Nossa pesquisa assume caráter qualitativo- etnográfico, pois a pesquisadora foi também a mediadora das aulas. Nossa análise foi feita através das anotações desta pesquisadora, de questionários coletados com a docente que acompanhava os alunos da série escolhida e de produções textuais escrita de três alunos, que por sua vez tiverem três textos recolhidos para a geração dos dados demonstrados em nossa pesquisa. Através dos resultados que obtivemos na análise do material coletado, compreendemos que os envolvidos avançaram em seu grau de letramento após participarem dos eventos propostos, como também ressignificaram suas práticas leitoras e escritoras. A contação de histórias, prática ancestral presente em meio à rápida produção de inovações tecnológicas, renova-se acompanhando a transformação e o surgimento de suportes, gêneros e temáticas. Eventos como estes tornam-se importantes instrumentos nas mãos dos agentes de letramento para proporcionar um mergulho à literatura clássica e popular, sem esquecer da produção de narrativas curtas, primeiro passo para a descoberta de excelentes novos escritores. Se a literatura é a palavra que conduz novos leitores aos livros através de outras palavras. A figura do contador é o nosso condutor entre o passado, o presente e o futuro das nossas memórias
