Das origens à atualidade,da teoria às crenças docentes: o que é literatura?

This paper aims to discuss and reflect on how to conceptualize the literature, searching the literary theories in textbooks and in the speeches of faculty definitions used for the same. Understanding that, depending on the weather, the space in which we speak to see how literature is not the same ratings have been worked since Aristotle in ancient Greece up to the present day; sometimes conceiving literature as word art, mimeses, Aristotelian concepts, sometimes seeking elements that could select a work as belonging to literature, literariness, at other times focusing on the ideology and seeing the canons the answer to that question. We also analyzed textbooks, facing the first year of high school, whose concepts are summarized Aristotle's poetics and a blurring and synthesis of something they can not explain. Finally, we have the concepts used by teachers in their classrooms, definitions, in many cases, inconsistent and that demonstrate a lack of familiarity with the theories that discuss the issue and a huge reliance on manuals of literature, and which are often interpreted confusedly by teachers. We look at three distinct spaces the answer to the question what is literature and try to understand where the concepts were taken brought to the classroom.Este trabalho tem por objetivo discutir e refletir sobre a forma de conceituar a literatura, buscando nas teorias literárias, nos manuais didáticos e nos discursos dos docentes as definições usadas para a mesma. Compreendendo que, dependendo do tempo, do espaço em que se fale a forma de ver a literatura não é a mesma, foram trabalhadas classificações desde Aristóteles, na antiga Grécia, até aos dias atuais; ora concebendo a literatura como arte da palavra, mimeses, conceitos aristotélicos, ora buscando elementos que pudessem selecionar uma obra como pertencente à literatura, literariedade, em outros momentos focando nos cânones a resposta para tal pergunta. Foram analisados capítulos de alguns livros didáticos, voltados para o primeiro ano do Ensino Médio, cujos conceitos resumem-se a poética de Aristóteles e a uma indefinição e síntese de algo que não conseguem explicar. Por último, temos os conceitos usados pelos docentes em suas aulas, definições, em muitos casos, incoerentes e que demonstram uma falta de familiaridade com as teorias que discutem o assunto e uma enorme dependência dos manuais de literatura, e que muitas vezes são interpretados confusamente pelos professores Foram Buscados e discutidos em três espaços distintos a resposta para a indagação o que é literatura, entendendo, assim, de onde eram tirados alguns os conceitos levados à sala de aula
