The present work of conclusion of course aimed at carry out a brief study on the importance of music in childhood education. For this, we did a literature review about the topic and we conducted a field research with the qualitative approach. This research happened in day care ― Lar, luz e vida‖, having four teachers of this day care. For the collection of data, we used an interview with ten essay questions about the theoretical conceptions about music in early childhood education, besides the pedagogical conceptions that help in the practice of the teachers.
