Educação em direitos humanos na formação de docentes: da universidade à prática pedagógica

This study is the result of questioning, reflection and discussion on Education in Human Rights both in the university - with the formation of graduates - and in school in critical and reflective training of students in Brazil. We have seen in recent years, an evolution in our legislation with the creation of documents that ensure quality education, fair and equitable, as well as more active participation of socio-cultural groups "less influential" in society. However, the discourse and effective implementation of education is still far from a satisfactory practice, a reality that shows cruel to most of the population, where the notion of human rights is understood wrongly, and the formation of teachers and students in Education in / for Human rights is still restrict. To collect data, we used a questionnaire containing seven questions, which after being posted on a social network (Facebook) was answered by only four teachers. The results showed that the degree courses of the UFPB are not forming their teachers to address the problems that arise related to prejudice, discrimination, racism, religious intolerance, homophobia, and all those inherent in the school routine , once they not offer in their curriculums no discipline focused on the issue of human rights, allowing each teacher to go search for an additional training that enable them to face the conflicting issues that arise in the classroom, and turn the, into multipliers of a culture of peace, common sense and respect for human dignity, significantly reducing cases of human rights violation.O presente estudo é fruto da problematização, reflexão e discussão acerca da Educação em Direitos Humanos tanto no âmbito universitário ‒ com a formação dos licenciados ‒ quanto escolar na formação crítica e reflexiva dos discentes, no Brasil. Temos acompanhado nos últimos anos, uma evolução na nossa legislação com a criação de documentos que asseguram uma educação de qualidade, justa e igualitária, como também uma participação mais ativa de grupos socioculturais ―menos influentes‖ na sociedade. Porém, o discurso e cumprimento efetivo desta educação ainda está distante de uma prática satisfatória, numa realidade que se mostra cruel para a maioria da população, onde a noção de Direitos Humanos é entendida de forma equivocada, e a formação de docentes e discentes na Educação em/para os Direitos Humanos ainda é restrita. Para a coleta de dados, utilizou-se de um questionário contendo sete perguntas, que após ser postado em uma rede social (Facebook) foi respondido por apenas quatro professores. Os resultados da pesquisa mostraram que os cursos de licenciatura da UFPB não estão formando seus professores para enfrentarem os problemas que surgem relacionados ao preconceito, a discriminação, ao racismo, a intolerância religiosa, a homofobia, e todos aqueles inerentes ao cotidiano escolar, uma vez que não oferta nos seus currículos nenhuma disciplina voltada para a questão dos direitos humanos, deixando que cada professor vá em busca de uma formação complementar que lhe possibilite o enfrentamento das questões conflituosas que surgem na sala de aula, e tornem-se multiplicadores de uma cultura de paz, bom senso e respeito à dignidade humana, diminuindo significativamente os casos violação dos direitos humanos
