Mercado de trabalho contábil: uma análise da perspectiva dos alunos de Ciências Contábeis em relação aos requisitos exigidos pelos escritórios de contabilidade

The research aimed to highlight the similarities between the requirements of the accounting offices and the perspectives of the graduating students of the Course of Accounting Sciences of the UFPB. To meet the research objective, semi-structured questionnaires were applied to the offices and then to the students. The collected data were inserted in electronic spreadsheets and transformed into tables. Based on the results, the study concluded that, with regard to the knowledge requirements of the area, there was a 50% alignment of the answers of the offices with the vision of the students (Elaboration of the accounting statements and knowledge in computer science). Regarding the professional characteristics, the result represented 40% of the answers (teamwork and commitment). The results are in line with the research of Leal, Soares and Souza (2009) that show characteristics common to the profile of the accounting professional desired by the employers and the profile indicated by the graduates of Accounting Sciences, presenting some divergences in skills and abilities. Thus, a greater integration between the students and the labor market is suggested through lectures, workshops, mini-courses, among others, so that there can be an improvement in the relationship between the market and the professionals who will work in it.NenhumaA pesquisa objetivou evidenciar as semelhanças entre as exigências dos escritórios de contabilidade e as perspectivas dos alunos concluintes do Curso de Ciências Contábeis da UFPB. Para atender ao objetivo da pesquisa, foram aplicados questionários semiestruturados com os escritórios e, em seguida, com os discentes. Os dados coletados foram inseridos em planilhas eletrônicas e transformados em tabelas. Com base nos resultados, o estudo concluiu que, no que se refere as exigências de conhecimentos da área, houve um alinhamento de 50% nas respostas dos escritórios com a visão dos discentes (Elaboração das demonstrações contábeis e conhecimento em informática). Com relação as características profissionais, o resultado representaram 40% das respostas (trabalho em equipe e comprometimento). Os resultados estão alinhados com a pesquisa de Leal, Soares e Souza (2009) que apontam características comuns ao perfil do profissional contábil desejado pelos empregadores e o perfil indicado pelos formandos de Ciências Contábeis, apresentando algumas divergências em competências e habilidades. Dessa forma, sugere-se uma maior integração entre os alunos e o mercado trabalho através de palestras, workshop, minicursos, entre outros, para que possa haver uma melhora na relação entre o mercado e os profissionais que irão atuar nele
