The present study is proposed to describe the profile of the graduates of Archival Course in the Federal University of Paraíba and in the State University of Paraíba. The aim is to specify where and how these professionals are inserted in the labor market. The methodology was based on a qualitative and quantitative perspective, using statistical resources to express, by percentage, the outlining related to their profile. Quantitatively, the research adopted the Content Analysis proposed by Laurence Bardin, presenting categories of analysis in the ambit of three main themes: the motifs for the selection of course, satisfaction with the profession, and the difficulties faced by these professionals to be inserted in the labor market.
