Oral history of Mr. Tinh Ho, who was born in Quang Nam, in the province of Da Nang in 1964. He grew up during the Vietnam War and completed school in Vietnam 10 years after the war ended. He recounts his memories of the war as a child and shares his story about coming here as an adult. He came to the United States by plane with his parents in 1995, when he was 31 years old. With support from members of his community, he did his best to learn English and get certificated to become a machinist. He sponsored his wife and his children to come to the US in 2003 and lives with them now, along with his parents-in-law in Fontana, California.
