PROSEDUR RADIOTERAPI FIBROSARCOMA OCULUS SINISTRA MENGGUNAKAN TEKNIK IMRT DAN RADIASI ELEKTRON DI UNIT RADIOTERAPI RSUP DR. SARDJITO YOGYAKARTA

Fibrosarcoma is a slow, but aggressive local malignant tumor that arises from fibroblasts. According to Barret (2009) sarcoma that occurs on the orbit, excision and radiotherapy are carried out postoperatively. In one case in the RSUP Radiotherapy Unit, Dr. Sardjto Yogyakarta found that left eye fibrosarcoma patients were unable to operate so that only radiotherapy could be done. The tumor volume of 888,850 cm3 is progressive to intracranial. The radiotherapy technique used is the IMRT technique and added electron radiation. The purpose of this study was to identify differences in radiotherapy procedures between postoperative sarcoma cases without surgery. Then, to find out the reason for using the IMRT technique and electron radiation in this case. This research is a qualitative research with case studies. Data obtained from the process of direct observation, doing documentation and interviewing respondents who participated in conducting examinations on these patients. Data is analyzed by interactive models. The results of this study were to discuss the technique of radiotherapy in the case of Sinistra Oculus Fibrosaroma starting from a doctor's consultation, determining the technique and dosage, CT simulator action, TPS, verification and then doing treatment and comparing it with the literature. The reason for using the IMRT technique is because doctors give a dose of 70 Gy to patients so they have to do the IMRT technique to avoid critical organs getting doses exceeding the tolerance dose. Electron addition is needed to shrink the tumor on the left eye surface so that the size is in accordance with the CT-Simulator and stop bleeding
