THE RADIOGRAPHIC EXAMINATION PROCEDURE OF PARANASAL SINUSES (SPN) WITH A SINUSITIS CASE IN RADIOLOGY INSTALATION RSUD Dr. R. SOEDJATI SOEMODIARDJO PURWODADI GROBOGANAselia Safitri 1) Gatot Murti Wibowo 2)ABSTRACTThe radiographic examination fixed procedure of paranasal sinuses with a sinusitis case in Radiology Instalation RSUD Dr. R. Soedjati Soemodiardjo Purwodadi Grobogan that using Close Mouth Waters Method projection in helping to diagnose sinusitis. Whereas in Lampignano (2018) there is a Lateral projection, Caldwell Method, Close Mouth Waters Method, SMV and Open Mouth Waters Method. According to Rasad (2015) to evaluate SPN, it is enough to examine Caldwell Method projection, Lateral and Close Mouth Waters Method. Based on this, the authors are interested in studying more about the SPN examination procedure and the role of Close Mouth Waters Method in providing information on paranasal sinuses radiographic examination in sinusitis case.The method used is qualitative with case study approach. Time and place of this research on February until May 2019 in Radiology Instalation RSUD Dr. R. Soedjati Soemodiardjo Purwodadi Grobogan. The research done by direct observation, documentation study and deep interview. The research respondent are a sending doctor, two radiographers and two radiology specialists in Radiology Instalation RSUD Dr. R. Soedjati Soemodiardjo Purwodadi Grobogan and the data analyzed with open coding.The research result showed that the radiographic examination procedure of paranasal sinuses with a sinusitis case in Radiology Instalation RSUD Dr. R. Soedjati Soemodiardjo Purwodadi Grobogan using Close Mouth Waters Method projection with using 24 x 30 cm imaging plate. The role of Close Mouth Waters Method projection of providing programming information on sinusitis to reveal the maxillary sinuses, ethmoidal sinuses and frontal sinuses clearly on the results of the radiograph so that it is used as a doctor's guide during surgery.Keyword: Paranasal Sinuses, Close Mouth Waters Method, Radiology Instalation RSUD Dr. R.
