PERBANDINGAN INFORMASI CITRA MRI LUMBAL POTONGAN SAGITAL SEKUENS T2WI FSE STIR DAN T2WI FSE DIXON PADA KASUS HERNIA NUCLEUS PULPOSUS (HNP)

T2 Weighted Image Fast Spin Echo (T2WI FSE) is standard sequence used in lumbar MRI examination to determine the anatomy and abnormalities in lumbar region, especially in cases of Hernia Nucleus Pulposus (HNP). Fat signals on T2WI FSE appear hyperintense, to increase image information used fat suppression technique. Types of fat suppression techniques among others STIR and Dixon. The purpose of this research is to know differences image information using T2WI FSE STIR and T2WI FSE Dixon sequences and to know fat suppression techniques better in MRI lumbar sagittal in cases Hernia Nucleus Pulposus (HNP). This type of research is quantitative experimental. The samples used in this research is 10 patients with HNP cases and two Radiology Specialists as respondents. It is an assessment of the anatomical criteria of the vertebral body, intervertebral disc, spinal cord and ligamentum flavum. The results of the respondents analyzed using the Wilcoxon statistical test. This research that there were significant difference in images information on MRI lumbar sagittal plane sequences T2WI FSE STIR and T2WI FSE Dixon of HNP cases with a significance value = 0.007 (
