Nucleus Pulposus hernia (HNP) is an emphasing on the soft pads between the spine (soft gel disc or Nucleus Pulposus) so that the nucleus pulposus breaks out. In order to optimize pathology, this requires fat suppression to apply fat and fluid. The Fat Suppression technique includes Fat Saturation and STIR. Fat Saturation fat suppression is less homogeneous so that it requires another fat suppression technique that can provide better anatomical results.
