HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP DENGAN PERILAKU PEMERIKSAAN INSPEKSI VISUAL ASAM ASETAT (IVA)DI DESA SIDOREJO KECAMATAN TIRTOKABUPATEN PEKALONGAN

Cervical cancer is the second largest cancer in Indonesia and is the leading caused death of women. The cervical cancer prevalence in Indonesia 2011 were 0,8% as many as 98.692 orang (Indonesia Health Ministry, 2013). The number of cervical cancer patients in Pekalongan Regency 2016 was 10 people (26.31%) of 38 cancer patients. The cervical cancer number in Sidorejo Village as many as 3 people and cervical cancer can be prevented early by IVA check up, but childbearing age women who conducted IVA check up in 2017 was 15 people from 565 people. The target of IVA check up is childbearing age women who age 30-50 years who are married. IVA check up schedule every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This research aimed to determine correlation between knowledge and attitudes to IVA checkup behavior in Sidorejo Village, Tirto District Pekalongan Regency.The corresponding research design used analytical survey with cross sectional approach. Sample were fertile age women in Sidorejo Village Tirto District Pekalongan Regency as many as 235 people. The technique of sampling used proportional random sampling. The data collecting instrument used questionnaire.The result showed that there was not correlation between knowledge (?: 1,000) to IVA checkup behaviour, but there was correlation beetwen attitude (?: 0,001) to IVA checkup behaviour in Sidorejo Village Tirto District Pekalongan Regency.From the result of this research, expected health workers will take a persuasive approach with local community leaders (through religious organization) to motivate fertile women age to be willing to take IVA checkup
