ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA KLIEN POSTORIF EKSTREMITAS DENGAN FOKUS STUDIMANAJEMEN NYERI DI RUMAH SAKITBHAYANGKARA SEMARANG

Fractures is an interruption of continuity condition of bone tissue and/or cartilage which is generally caused by rudapaksa. One of the fracture treatment is surgery with internal fixation or ORIF (Open Reduction Internal Fixation). Nursing problems that often occur on the client post ORIF is pain due to the effects of surgical trauma. Pain is an unpleasant sensory emotional experience that is related to the actual risk or damage of tissue. Many factors affect the duration of decline in pain scale, one of which is the non-pharmacological pain management using handheld relaxation techniques fingers. The main objective of this paper is to describe nursing care for post ORIF extremity clients with a focus on pain management studies at Bhayangkara Hospital Semarang. Writing used is descriptive method with exposure to cases and using a nursing process approach. The purposive sampling technique was used to get two respondents. The results of nursing care given for 3 days to post ORIF extremity clients is the problem of acute pain resolved marked by an average decrease in pain is 4, which was originally were (pain scale 4-6) to mild (pain scale 1-3). From the results above, it can be concluded that non-pharmacological actions of hand hold relaxation support pharmacological therapy of ketorolac 30 mg effective in reducing pain
