Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Plus Music increase the self-esteem of schizophrenic patients at Dr. RSD Amino Gondohutomo, Central Java Province.Background: Schizophrenia is a disease that affects the brain as a form of functional psychosis, with symptoms of disorder; thoughts, perceptions, emotions, movements, strange behavior and disharmony or personal rifts, one of the maladaptive symptoms is low self-esteem. Patients who experience low self-esteem are the effects of schizophrenia whose pain. Group activity therapy given as a nursing intervention is deemed not effective in increasing patient self-esteem. EFT aims to balance the body's clogged energy system which can lead to changes in mind, behavior and emotions by tapping at certain points on the body.Objective: to analyze EFT therapy Plus Music in increasing self-esteem of schizophrenic patients.Method: Experimental Quasy, Purposive with a sample of 32 respondents divided into 2 treatment groups, namely the first group just with group activity therapy and second group with EFT Plus Music. The study was conducted for 7 days by measuring the initial data (pre test) and data on the 7 day (post test) with MRPKD instruments, the data was processed with a computer program with Man Whitney and Wilcoxon test.Results: There were differences in the results ofmeasurements pre test and post test on each group (
