Background : There are many variations of Time Echo (TE) value used in the lumbar MRI sequence of sagital on Short Tau Inversion Recovery (STIR), according to Moeller (2010) the TE values used are 30-60 ms, according to Westbrook (2014) TE values used is more than 60 ms, whereas in Panti Rapih Hospital Yogyakarta TE value used is 39 ms. The aim of this research is to know the difference of anatomical information of MRI lumbar sagital on STIR sequence with TE variation and to find out the optimal TE value in giving anatomical information MRI lumbar sagital on Short Tau Inversion Recovery (STIR) sequence. Methods : This research was conducted at Panti Rapih Hospital Yogyakarta by varying the TE values i.e 30 ms, 60 ms and 90 ms on the STIR seq...
