Background : Laparatomy is one of the major surgical procedures. Low albumin levels slow the body's immune response in the face of infection so that the wound healing process is slow, the old wound healing process will require a lot of time and cost during treatment, so the nurse can provide complementary nursing therapy that can help wound healing with innovative nutrition through feeding in the form of snake fish extractObjective : To explain the effect of snake fish extract (channa striata) on albumin levels and wound healing in post-laparotomy patients.Method : Type of true experimental research with randomized design levels of albumin pre test and post test control group design while post-test wound healing whht control design, sample 34 respondents, data analysis techniques albumin levels using independent t-test and paired t-test while wound healing using Mann-Whitney. The independent variables are snake fish extract and the dependent variable are albumin levels and wound healingResults : The administration of snake fish extract in postoperative laparotomy patients experienced an increase in albumin levels with an average of 0.59 gr / dl, administration of cork fish extract affected albumin levels in the intervention and control groups
