STIMULASI TAKTIL KINESTETIK TERHADAP KENAIKAN BERAT BADAN, KESTABILAN TANDA VITAL DAN LAMA RAWATAN BAYI PREMATUR

Background : The number of premature babies according to WHO increases every year an estimated 15 million babies are born prematurely. The incidence of prematurity was found to be quite high in KRMT Wongsonegoro Semarang Hospital and Kab. Ungaran. Premature babies are susceptible to various health problems early in their lives so management of preterm care must be more optimal and proven to reduce mortality and pain. Existing management is in the form of pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments in the form of treatment of kangaroo methods, music therapy, visual stimulation, but less efficient in the process of reducing the length of stay. Kinesthetic tactile stimulation is one of the massage therapies using a light touch that functions can help improve the baby's well-being and adaptation to the extrauterine environment.Objective : To prove the effectiveness of giving tactile kinesthetic stimulation to body weight, body temperature, pulse, respiration, oxygen saturation and length of stay of premature baby.Research Methods : The study used a Quasi-Experimental design with pretest-posttest with control group. Sampling was done using consecutive sampling with a total of 32 preterm infants consisting of 16 intervention and control groups. Kinesthetic tactile stimulation was performed twice a day for 15 minutes within 3 days. Data were analyzed by Repeated measure ANOVA, Friedman post hoc Wilcoxon, General linear model and Mann-Whitney using SPSS.Results : The results showed there were significant differences in tactile kinesthetic stimulation of weight gain (p value = 0.001), increase in body temperature (p value = 0.001), decreased pulse (p value = 0.001), decreased respiration (p value = 0.003), saturation rise oxygen (p value = 0.001) and decrease the length of stay (p value = 0.033) premature baby.Conclusion : Giving tactile kinesthetic stimulation is effective in increasing body weight, stability of body temperature, pulse, respiration, oxygen saturation, and decreasing the length of stay of premature baby faster
