HIPNOTERAPI SEBAGAI ALTERNATIF PENURUNAN TINGKAT KECEMASAN, KADAR KORTISOL DAN JUMLAH DENYUT JANTUNG JANIN PADA IBU PRIMIGRAVIDA TRIMESTER III

Background: There are physiological and psychological changes during pregnancy among others anxiety before labour.Hypnotherapy is given to pregnant women classes to reduce anxiety problem experienced by primigravida in the third semester of pregnancy. However, in fact there were still pregnant women who experienced anxiety in the work area of Bregas Community Health Center. This study present to optimize the dissemination of hypnotherapy use all pregnant women classes in the work area of Bergas Community Health Care by assessing the change in anxiety levels, cortisol hormone levels and fetal heart rate after hypnotherapy. Objective: To analyse the differences in the level of anxiety, the level of cortisol hormone and fetal heart rate among primigravida in the third trimester of pregnancy after hypnotherapy.Methods: The study type was quasi experimental study with pre-post test with control group design with the total samples of 40 women. Anxiety measuring instrument was ZSAS questionnaire, cortisol examination was performed with ELISA method, fetal heart rate was measured using Doppler. Hypnotherapy intervention was given 8 times for 1 month. Bivariate analysis used t-test, Mann Whitney test and Wilcoxon test.Results: After being given hypnotherapy, the level of anxiety in the intervention group showed that 80% had mild anxiety, the control group showed that 50% had mild anxiety, p value = 0.030, the mean of fetal heart rate in the intervention group after hypnotherapy was 115.3 times/minute, fetal heart rate in the control group was 119 times/minute with p value = 0.035. The level of cortisol hormone after hypnotherapy in the intervention group was 65.1 ng/ml, the level of cortisol hormone in the control group was 103.8 ng/ml with p value = 0.001Conclusion: There were significant differences in the level of anxiety, the level of cortisol hormone and fetal heart rate among primigravida in the third trimester of pregnancy after being given hypnotherapy for 1 mont
