MRI Lumbal is a more frequent examination used to evaluate degenerative changes, one of which is the nucelus pulposus hernia. The nucelus pulposus hernia is the discharge of the nucleus pulposus of the intervertebral disc because of the tearing of the annulus fibrosus connective tissue. The sequence used is to use T2 Turbo Invers Recovery Magnitude sequence and T2 TSE Fat Saturation sequence which is a fat-pressing technique that aims to reveal the network contrast of an anatomy well from the surrounding fat signal.
