PROSEDUR PEMERIKSAAN PANORAMIK PADA PEDIATRIK DI INSTALASI RADIOLOGI RSUD TUGUREJO SEMARANG

The panoramic radiographic procedure became one of radiology examination received by children. Therefore the experience should be as comfortable as possible. There are various pediatric patient responses during the panoramic examination. The purpose of this research is to know the procedure and handling of panoramic examinations on pediatrics at Radiology Department of RSUD Tugurejo Semarang.The method of research is a qualitative research with case study approach. Research applied on March-April 2018 at Radiology Department of RSUD Tugurejo Semarang. Data collection methods with observation, Focus Group Discussion and documentation. The subject are radiographers, radiologist, physicians, and patient parent. The data which collected then analyzed by interactive analysis model. The result of research showed that radiographic examination of panoramic pediatric procedure at Radiology Department of RSUD Tugurejo Semarang do not need special preparation and apron usage is not required because it do not have a specific apron for children. Handling of pediatric patients on panoramic examination are communication of children and parents, sound settings, being friendly, persuading and seducing children, and telling with language that is easy to understand by the child. Radiology Installation RSUD Tugurejo Semarang do not yet have a fixed procedure of panoramic examination for pediatric and used adult procedure
