HUBUNGAN PERILAKU PASIEN TENTANG KESEHATAN GIGI DAN MULUT DENGAN ANGKA KEJADIAN KARIES PADA PENDERITA SINUSITIS DI POLI GIGI RS PANTI WILASA CITARUM SEMARANG TAHUN 2018

Caries is a disease of the teeth and mouth that is often found in the community. According to data from Riskedas (2013), 25% of Indonesians have dental and oral problems. Dental disease causes focal infection in other parts of the human body. Dental hygiene behavior is the behavior or effort of a person to maintain or maintain dental health in order not to be sick and effort for healing when sick. According to New York Medical Center Maxillary sinusitis caused by odontogen about 47%, this study aims to determine the relationship between the patient's dental and oral health with the incidence of caries in patients with sinusitis dipoligigi RS Panti Wilasa Citarum.The type of research used in writing this thesis using descriptive analytics with cross sectional method. By using accidental sampling technique. The sample used is 66 respondents. Test data analysis used by Chi Square.The results showed that the knowledge and attitude showed relationship with caries incidence rate, significant value p.value = 0,000 (p 0.005). The result of the behavioral relationship test shows the result p.value 0,000, which shows the relationship between behavior with caries incidence rate.The conclusions of this study indicate that there is a correlation between patients' dental behavior with caries incidence rates. So it is suggested to the public to be more routine and more concerned with dental health .
