GAMBARAN FAKTOR PENYEBAB ASFIKSIA NEONATORUM DI RSUD PROF. DR. W.Z. JOHANNES KUPANG

Indonesia Infant Mortality Rate in 2016 is 22,23 / 1000 Birth of Life. Asphyxia neonatorum ranks second cause of infant mortality. Infant Mortality Rate in Province of NTT in 2015 is 11/1000 KH, and increase to 15,9% in 2016. Based on medical record data of RSUD Prof. DR. W.Z. Johannes Kupang, infant mortality due to asphyxia of 19.1% and 80 babies died. The purpose of this study is to determine the description of factors causing asphyxia neonatorum in RSUD Prof. DR. W.Z.Johannes Kupang.This research used descriptive research design with retrospective approach. The sample in this research is 349 baby, with purposive sampling. The research variables are the factors that cause asphyxia neonatorum. Data collection method used is a checklist sheet and subsequently univariat analyzed.The results of the study showed that from 349 samples of infants with asphyxia were from women that >35 years old as many as 149 people (42.69%), history of hypertension in pregnancy 146 people (41.83%), history of antepartum bleeding 98 people (28.09%) , history of anemia 124 people (35.53%), grandemultipara 157 people (44.70%), gestational age 35 years 42.69% and prolong of delivery 57,59%
