Tatalaksana Brakhiterapi High Dose Rate (HDR) Teknik Intrakaviter Lengkap 2D Pada Kasus Kanker Serviks Uteri Di Unit Radioterapi RSUP Dr. Kariadi Semarang

Background : Brachytherapy HDR complete 2D intracaviter technique in case of cervical cancer uterine in Radiotherapy Unit of Dr. Kariadi Semarang was done by intracaviter technique using manchester method with intrauterine fletcher applicator. According to the American Cancer Society (2016) brachytherapy by radioactive closer to the primary tumor by watching the surrounding healthy organs. Brachytherapy is performed by intracaviter technique using intrauterine tandem applicator and intravaginal ovoid. This research is intended to know the management of brachytherapy HDR complete 2D intracaviter technique in the case of cervical cancer uterine and the use of intrauterine fletcher applicator in case of cervical cancer uterine in Radiotherapy Unit of Dr. Kariadi Semarang.Methods : The type of this research is descriptive qualitative with case study approach. Method of data settlement done by observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis is done with data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclussion. Result : The result of brachytherapy study of HDR in complete 2D intracaviter technique in case of cervival cancer uterine in Radiotherapy Unit of Dr. Kariadi Semarang covers the stages of consultation and examination by a radiation oncologist, anamnesis, patient general condition, patient preparation, intrauterine fletcher applicator, c-arm AP and lateral x-ray simulation photo, TPS HDR manchester technique using point A, point B, and healthy organs such as the rectum and bladder get a dose of 60%, point A 100% of a total dose of 7 Gy, dose given 3 x 7 Gy per fraction. The reason for the use of intrauterine fletcher applicator with manchester method, the use of applicator is selected based on the patient has been operated or not operation and expected dosage distribution on cancer cells more optimal and accurate.Conclussion : Brachytherapy HDR complete 2D intracaviter technique in case of cervical cancer uterine in Radiotherapy Unit of Dr. Kariadi Semarang performed irradiation with the results of the TPS calculation using an intrauterine fletcher applicator with the manchester method, due to not having surgery on the uterine organs.Keywords: Brachytherapy, HDR, Applicator, Cervical Cancer Uterin
