PENGARUH PEMBERIAN KAPSUL DAUN KELOR (MORINGA OLEIFERA) TERHADAP PERUBAHAN KADAR PROFIL DARAH PADA IBU POST PARTUM

Introduction: Anemia is a maternal postpartum health problems experienced by women around the world, especially in developing countries. Health Organization (WHO) reported that the prevalence of postpartum maternal anemia around 56%. Indonesian Health of Demographic Survey in 2012 ,In Indonesia Prevalence of anemia in postpartum mothers reached 30%. Maternal postpartum anemia is a medical condition in which the number of red blood cells or the hemoglobin is less than 11gr%.Objective:Prove influence of Moringa leaf capsule can improve overall blood profile of maternal postpartumMethod: This was an quasy research is experimental with pretest - posttest control group design. The sample in this study were all maternal postpartum Tlogosari Wetan PHC working area of 30 respondents, divided two groups. The intervention group were given capsules and tablets Fe Moringa leaves and the control group were given Fe tablet was conducted from November to December 2016. Using laboratory measurements and observation sheet.Result:Moringa leaves that supplementation with 500 mg / day can increase hemoglobin levels of 8.1%, hematocrit 13.5%, erythrocytes 13.7% and platelets 28.2%, this change is because the content of Moringa leaves such as, iron, vitamin C, B12, E, A, K, flavonoids, which can trigger an increase in blood profile.Conclusions and suggestions: That the addition of Moringa leaf capsule on maternity mothers can significantly increase the value of the levels of blood profile, therefore Moringa leaves can be used as a food additive that works well to changing levels of blood profil
