ANALISIS PERBEDAAN KEJELASAN GAMBARAN ANATOMI RADIOGRAF DENTAL ANTARA PROSES PENCUCIAN MANUAL DAN INJEKSI

Dental radiograph that produced from exposure factor, object, and same position can make various figure. It occured because the processing peformed on different dental films. The aim of this research was to know the differences of anatomical figure clarity of dental radiograph between manual and injection processing. This research designed by a qualitative research with experimental approach. 26 dental films with each processing produce 13 radiographs. They were produced from same film. Then, data retrieved through an observation by distribute quistionnaires toward respondents who were doctor specialist of radiology. Questionnaires that distributed toward them, contain three objects that became assessment variables, they wre dental crown, dental neck and dental root. The results showed that there were some differences of anatomical figure clarity of dental radiograph between manual and injection processing with p value 0.03. The carity of anatomical figure on dental radiographs that carried out by manual washing process produce optimal clarity to confirm a diagnose than radiographs that carrie out by injection processing. It also proved in most of the data produce negative ranks or sample with tha value of injection processing lower than the value of manual processing with the mean rank 7.13
