PROSEDUR PEMERIKSAAN MRI SERVIKALIS PADA KLINIS HERNIA NUKLEUS PULPOSUS (HNP) DENGAN PENAMBAHAN SEKUEN MYELO DI RUMAH SAKIT TELOGOREJO SEMARANG

ABSTRACTAccording to Westbrook (1999) for cervical MRI examination using SE / FSE T1 sagittal sequences, SE / FSE T2 and SE / FSE T1 / T2 axial / obliq SE / FSE. Based on preliminary study at Radiology Installation of Telogorejo Hospital Semarang, routine MRI cervical examination used T2 FSE Sagital sequence, T1W FSE sagittal, T2 transversal FSE, T1 transversal FSE, and Myelo. The purpose of this research is to know the procedure of Cervical MRI examination and the reason of myelo mycers sequence in Hernia Nukleus Pulposus (HNP) clinic at Telogorejo Hospital Semarang.This research type is qualitative research with case study approach, interview with radiographer, doctor radiologist, and doctor sender, and documentation. Data analysis with interactive model from observation data, interview and further documentation in categorization and in open coding graphic.The results of the study procedure, no special preparation before the examination is done, the patient is required to release objects containing ferromagnetic, and fill out the inform consent. Sequences used are T2 FSE Sagital, T1W FSE sagittal, T2 FSE transversal, T1 FSE transversal, and Myelo. The reason for the use of this myelo sequence on the Cervical MRI examination at the Telogorejo Hospital Installation Semarang for the addition of diagnostic information such as intrathecal structures such as spinal cord, nerve roots. The advantages of the myelo sequence technique with the sagittal T2 piece in the Nucleus Pulse Hernia (HNP) depiction are more accurate in 3D myelo sequences visually visible from various sides, which is helpful in diagnosis
