INTERVENSI NYERI PADA KLIEN ARHTRITIS GOUT DI TATANAN KELUARGA DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS KEDUNGMUNDU SEMARANG

Gouty arthritis is a joint inflammation that is caused by Hyperuricemia which leads various problems in the body. Frequently the problem of arthritis gout is a painful and discomfort condition. The pain triggers an inflammatory process of calcium deposits (Tofi) that is formed from the accumulation of mononatrium uric crystals. According to many researches, cutaneous stimulation can reduce the pain effectively by applying a warm application. This study was conducted to describe the level of pain of client with arthritis gout after giving nursing intervention with warm application in community or family. A descriptive research (case study) was applied to 2 clients with hyperuricemia. A visual Analog Scale (VAS) was used to measure the pain. Research result showed that warm application can reduce the level of pain of the client with hyperuricemia. It is suggested that warm application can be applied to eliminate pain in the client with hyperuricemia.Keywords : Gouty arhtritis; warm application, acute pain
