The KM3NeT collaboration is constructing new-generation neutrino detectors in the Mediterranean Sea. The main goals are the study of the high-energy neutrino flux (KM3NeT/ARCA, off-shore Capo-Passero, Italy) and the determination of the neutrino mass ordering (KM3NeT/ORCA, off-shore Toulon, France). This contribution describes the system to collect, transfer and process the data, which consists of time and intensity measurements of photons recorded by photo-multiplier tubes resulting from charged products from neutrino interactions, together with data from the acoustic position system.
