Post-truth is an adjective which refers to ‘circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief’, and even though the concept has been around for centuries, several philosophers have resorted to blaming postmodernism for our ‘post-truth’ politics
