La caractérisation d'un composite carbone/epoxy (T300/5208) en compression dynamique à des vitesses de déformation pouvant atteindre 1000 s-1 a été menée en utilisant un dispositif de barres d'Hopkinson. Les courbes contrainte-déformation sont décrites pour des composites unidirectionnels. Avec un système de chargement classique, le comportement de ces matériaux a été obtenu pour une vitesse de 10-3 s-1.
