The A-type band ν9 of CH2D2 was studied between 1 150 and 1 320 cm-1 with a Czerny-type spectrometer having a resolving power of 0.1 cm-1. 215 lines of this band were identified. We obtained the rotational constants and 3 of the distortion constants. ν9 = 1236.348 cm-1, A9 = 4.293 8 cm -1, B9 = 3.555 0 cm -1, C9 = 2.9414 cm -1, d9JK = 4.13 x 10-4 cm -1, d9K = —1.93 x 10 -4 cm -1, d9WJ = —0.036 x 10-4 cm-1.
