The article presents experimental results on the application of thermal oxidation or low temperature gas nitrocarburizing (LTGNC) of Ecosint powders sintered under industrial conditions. Surface hardness HRB and microhardness (HV0.1) were studied. A structural analysis was carried out and the corrosion resistance of the alloys was investigated. Conclusions were made on chemical heat treatment performed on structure and mechanical properties of the investigated alloys
