The disintegration of 139Ba has been investigated by means of a magnetic β spectrometer, working in β-γ coincidence, a γ spectrometer and a slow-fast coincidence circuit. Four β-rays branchings have been found with following maximum energies and log ft : β 1 (E-2 300 keV ; 7.0), β2 (E-2 140 keV ; 7.0), β3 (E-1 400 keV ; 6.6) and β4 ([FORMULE]). The existence of two new levels of 139 La has been verified by coincidence measurements and the analysis of the β spectrum. The half-life of 166 keV level has been found to be (1,7 ± 0,2) 10-9 sec.
