By the use of two proportional counters in coincidence, with sources of less than 0,5 micrograms per cm2, vacuum evaporated, a study has been made of the low energy electron and photon spectrum of erbium 169. The branching ratio to the 8,4 keV excited level of thulium 169 is found to be (42 ± 1 ) %.
