High amplitude electric fields (∼ GV/m) can be produced by stimulated forward Raman scattering and effective acceleration of electrons to energy up to a few MeV has been observed in many laser-plasma experiments. We calculate the plasma characteristics (length, electron density and temperature) in order that forward Raman could develop and dominate the other parametric instabilities as stimulated Brillouin backscattering and backward Raman scattering. Experiments are conducted with different frequencies of the neodymium laser of the GRECO ILM ; we study the time and spectrally resolved emission of forward and backward Raman scattering and high energy electron emission in various types of plasmas.La production de champs électriques de très g...
