An adiabatic method of measurement of specific heats is described. The experiments are made between 2 and 40 °K. The energy used for heating is transmitted to the sample at a constant rate of power. We record the variation of temperature as a function of time. The coupling constant measured at the lowest temperature can be evaluated as 4.7 x 10-7 w °K-1.
