A review of recent work on point defects in lithium fluoride is given. The electronic defects, vacancies, colour centres and larger defects are described. It is shown how these defects determinine the electrical, optical and mechanical properties of the lithium fluoride. The irradiation effects by X and γ rays, and neutrons, at the reactor temperature or at low temperature, are also reported.On donne une revue des travaux récents consacrés aux défauts ponctuels dans le fluorure de lithium.
