Spin one models based upon a lattice Bragg-William's method are applied to the description of the surface-pressure isotherms of disc-like molecules of benzene-hexa-n-pentanoate (BH-5) forming monolayers at air-water interface. The models include vacancies and consider a reduction of hard core area due to nesting when pairing occurs.
