Expressions for the reflectivity at the surface of an absorbing medium are applied to the study of the special case of weak absorption and a sufficiently large angle of incidence. Some practical conclusions are given, with regard to the conditions of application of the attenuated total reflection method.On applique les formules générales donnant le facteur de réflexion à la surface d'un milieu absorbant, à l'étude d'un cas particulier correspondant à une absorption faible et à un angle d'incidence assez grand.
