The recent experimental measurements of the Lamb shift in muonium are described and their relevance as a test of quantum electrodynamics is discussed. Also included is a brief review of the theory for relativistic two-body bound state problem and its utilization in calculating the Lamb shift in muonium for which recoil corrections are fully taken into account
