The basic parameters underlying the superconducting behaviour of amorphous and crystalline, Cu0.33Zr0.66 alloys have been determined from specific heat measurements, performed between 0.3 K and 10 K. A tight-binding model is shown to account for the significant differences existing between the two alloy phases.
