Starting with Mie Gruneïsen's classical equation of state for a solid, we introduce an isotherm at 0 K and electronic contributions which yield results that agree closely with those obtained using Thomas Fermi's theory corrected for very high pressure. We have also included Grover's treatment of the solid-liquid transition according to Lindemann's law and, under a rarefaction wave, we use the fluid Van der Waals formulation. The resulting equation can easily be applied in the numerical codes. We have included in this document several numerical examples which agree with the experimental results as a whole, notably those obtained by shock wave on copper and aluminium samples.A partir du modèle classique d'équation d'état des solides, de la fo...
