Nous avons étudié des structures "5x1" et √3x√3 R 30° de Si(111) induites par adsorption d'or dans le domaine de la sous-monocouche. Nous avons respectivement mesuré 52 et 13 intensités de taches de diffraction non équivalentes. Les fonctions de Patterson montrent qu'aucune des structures proposées jusqu'à présent n'est valable.
