An impurity, dissolved in copper, induces a variation of electronic density at large distance. This variation, owing to the topology of the Fermi surface, is somewhat anisotropic. In particular. there are electron holes in the direction of the hollows in the Fermi surface ([111]) etc. In addition, in a determined direction, the density oscillations are no longer exactly periodical. The asymptotic values of these oscillations at à large distance from a strong localised perturbation (delta potential well) are investigated.
