The theoretical studies on Fuel Slurry Integrated Gasification/Gas Turbine (FSIG/GT) power generation process have progressed. The present focuses on the influence of dry-solid content level (DSC) in the slurry consumed by FSIG/GT process. At the present, the portion of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW)-known as LWTR (letter, wood, textile, and rubber)-fuels the unit. In such a process, the solid fuel is mixed with water to form a slurry, which is pumped into a drier. The dried fuel is fed to a gasifier and the produced gas is cleaned until reaching adequate levels of particle content and sizes, as well alkaline concentrations for injection in commercial gas turbines.
