The paper deals with a machining of polymeric composite materials with a reinforcement based on a waste from a coconut processing, i.e. a coconut shell by means of an unconventional technology, i.e. a water jet (WJ). These composite systems are desirable in the material engineering. Not only the research of their subsequent mechanical properties is important, but also searching for effective ways of machining and dividing to required shape and size. The composite material was tested in a form of boards made by means of a vacuum infusion.
